Think Good, Feel Good (Think Bad, Feel Bad)
Ever feel like you are just focusing on the negatives?
“My butts too big!”
“I hate my car!”
“I’ll never leave this miserable job!”
Well, it’s time to add some more POSITIVITY into your life. Once I started thinking more “positively”, I realized it was something that had to be done over and over. Know what they say…practice makes perfect. You can actually practice being more positive! Not just on “Motivation Monday”, but everyday.
Some tips for the day:
- Start with yourself! It’s time to start believing you are awesome! Look in that mirror and love every little flaw, bump, divot, crease, fold, and wrinkle; and start telling yourself, “I love and accept myself…just like this.” (Maybe even throw your arms up and twirl around a few times.)
- Don’t wait for others to compliment you. Compliment yourself! Tell yourself how great you did at work today or what a great job you are doing being a stay-at-home mom. (Maybe even buy yourself a bouquet of flowers today, just because!)
This week, just be nice to yourself and don’t focus on anything negative…nothing good ever comes out of that.
