Spring is here and who doesn’t like getting their hands dirty while planting a new bed of flowers? But, no one likes dirty hands afterwards. This Gardener’s (or Crafter’s) Sugar Scrub is perfect for you and super easy to make!
I’ve been obsessed with my little 4-oz. mason jars lately! I recently concocted a scrub for the kitchen (Sea Salt and Olive Oil Scrub) that sits on the windowsill by my kitchen sink. After some playing around again, I wanted one with a softer scent and pretty colors! Like the Sea Salt & Olive Oil Scrub, you just need 2-ingredients! Sugar and Liquid Soap!! (I’ve also included the PDF with labels, so you can just download, print and package! (available at end of post))
Any colorful Dish Soap ( I used Dawn’s Oil of Olay hand renewal in Pink & Purple!)
Mason Jars (any size)
Fill ANY jar 3/4 full with sugar, then add 1/4 (almost to the top) with the dish soap. Stir until it is blended (but not too foamy!), and DONE!
Scoop a small amount into hands, with little water, scrub hands, rinse and dry. SMOOOOOOTH hands!
Hint: After it sits by your sink, it will settle and separate, but just stir with your finger before using.
I am using these for my friends for Mother’s Day! I put together a small gardener’s basket with seeds, gloves, a shovel, and of course the new Sugar Scrub!
I bet they’ll keep returning the jars and begging me to make more when they empty their jars!
